I don't use ad blockers, or condone them at all. Adverts help pay for these services we enjoy.
However, the advertisers should take care not to be so intrusive as to have a negative effect on users.

Misread the thread title. Came in here expecting a discussion about Gary Gilmores eyes, the talented TV Smith, Laurie Driver, Howard Pickup and the incredibly sexy Gaye Advert.........instead it's Ping popping up on the screen. 
Now If GM could arrange for a pop up of aforementioned Gaye Advert to pop up on my screen, I'd be a very happy bunny.
