Less than 24 hours to go until the BIGGEST golfing come back in history.

approximatly 13.00 tomorrow I make my come back after about four month without a round, mainly due to injury.

The clubs have been re-cleaned and the shoes polished to look fit in with an army outfit.

The venue is a 9 hole course in Leeds called the Village.

Parmo, you may know it?

wish me luck...

Good luck mate, bet you're itching for it! I didn't play for four weeks and it was a killer!
Don't expect to pick up where you left off though! If golf was that easy it would just be boring! :D

Hope it goes well. Go in with little expectation of playing well and you may be surprised. Even if it all goes horribly wrong at least the comeback has started and there's sure to be at least one shot you'll take away with you tomorrow.

Good luck with your comeback outing Spoff.

Be sure to let us know how you got on mate. It may take a few holes before you get "back into the swing" though.

Main thing is, enjoy it!

P.S. Whereabouts is "The Village"? :D

its always great to be back. I know how you feel - I was off 8 months a few tears back when I shattered my ankle.

Hope it goes well

Cheers guys. Really looking forward to tomorrow, whatever the weather.

Before I injured my back I was striking the ball really well. I've been to the range a few times in the last week and although I'm not hitting the ball as well as I was pre injury I am now confident and trust my swing, so in the past where after a bad shot I have gone to pieces I am now confident I can leave it in the past and start again.

Plus I have a new putter since the last round and I have so much confidence in the spider!

The Village, Basher, is in Shadwell. Not too far from the Leeds Golf Centre, Wike. The Village has a sister course, Brandon, not far away.

The confidence should get a boost at the Village as it is a nine hole course so I am bound to break 100...

That's the one, Richard, never dared to play the additional three holes before as I've only played the course three times at that was at the begginning of my golfing career.

Quite fancy the extra three today, if not, and if I survive today I think I am playing the course again on Saturday morning so will try it then.

The club house (little more than a proter cabin) does cracking sausage and bacon sarnies too :)
