No, not because of snow... We haven't had any , my trouble some wrist has gone again :(

Picking up a phone of all things!!

Went to A&E from work. Had multiple examinations, including X-Ray and seen by an actual doctor. He said I had, what looked like, a hairline fracture and soft tissue damage (torn ligament) due to restricted movement and severe pain. A bit different than the tendonitis the walk-in centre said it was

He's said the fracture has healed (originally done in August, but not diagnosed by the walk-in centre), but the ligament damage hasn't. I'm back in a splint and off to the GP tonight. He should have a letter from the A&E advising him to refer me to a specialist.

Left work at mid-day. Got home at 9.30pm

No winter practice for me this year :(

Still, could be worse. It could be snowing :smirk:

At least you're not missing much golf....
Even if courses are open it's gonna be bloomin' cold for the rest of the year...

Heal well!

Oh no that's gutting but hopefully finally the right diagnosis and treatment to resolve it.

If it helps - we have snow so I'm not playing today as hate driving in the stuff!

What kind of a phone have you got!!!!!! Some 1980s yuppie throwback? Hope the wrists heals soon

Nope, just a desk phone. Gutted Tiger.

If I had a phone that looked like a Vietnam war field radio I could understand

Get well soon. I am resisting the temptation to question this in relation to vigourous, prolonged, excited, wrist related activities.....

Bad news mate , at least if it has to happen , now is the best time , all i will say is dont rush back . trying to get back a week or two early could mean a lay off in the spring/summer[??] time ,,

Good luck with a speedy recovery

I refuse to answer your supposition on the basis that I may incriminate myself

It clearly doesn't suck or he wouldn't have a wrist injury!
