My 13 year old daughter played in her first junior open yesterday on a course she had never played before. Playing off 36 and the ladies red tee's she shot a gross 99 net 63 for 47 pts and won the stableford comp. Bearing in mind she's only played 18 holes about a dozen times, I'm absolutely made up for her.

I know the feeling. My own daughter has had her first handicap this season. She also got 36. She beat both me and her mum over three rounds whilst we were on holiday recently. Beat her mum by 2 strokes and me by 4 strokes over the three rounds.
