The intentions were appreciated, but it's always non golfers that buy tat.
Sister in law bought Dunlop box with 3 golf balls, tees and pitch repairer. Wouldn't have been so bad if the balls were DP1V3 (Dunlop ProVs).

Only one rubbing his hands is Fat Ashley
 
I was in Waitrose the other day and noticed a multipack of sport themed golf balls. A tennis ball golf ball, baseball golf ball etc., etc.. I have a feeling I may end up with a pack of these seeing as the in-laws shop there!

I've had a set of these this year, think they're only good for one thing - putting in the draw bag for the swindle!
 
A brand new Titleist 917 driver. Told her I wanted a Dunlop. ⛳

Actually it was two balls in a tube and two plastic tees. Not even any markings on the balls. Already in the bag off balls to hit down the range and will never be seen again.
 
Footjoy rain gloves. The way our weather in costa del West Sussex is I won't be needing them. This now is only going to lead to one outcome. Better go and buy a boat now
 
got 2 footjoy gloves (love the gloves) in the complete wrong size! gonna attempt to switch them tomorrow

my mate got me a scorecard holder (you know the PGA one that has all this kit) she goes is it ok? I thought was cute.. I felt like going yeah its cool just like the one I have in the porch that I got 3 years ago and never use lol but I was polite

oh and my mum got me a dvd of Rory winning his first major

because youtube doesnt exist

No golf balls from the in-laws....they gave me England v New Zealand tickets for the ICC Champions Trophy instead!!! Over the moon with that!!!!
 
I've had the monogram thing before, useless. This year I got a shiny, quilted golf body warmer. I really don't like it. I did a really good thank you face, it was from my in laws, but told the truth to my wife when she asked later if I liked it. Clearly I should have lied to her as well as she thought I was ungrateful. I'll still not be wearing it though, uurgghhhhh.

Not quite a Xmas present but last week a client gave me half a dozen golf balls that his dog had found in a local park (all tat) but also there were three tennis balls|||| Perhaps he's seen me play golf.
 
On me worldly travels I have collected golf balls. A pal of mine went on holiday and brought me a ball back from Barbados. It has no markings to say which make of ball it is. I dropped the ball on me travertine floor on the kitchen to see it bounce, I think it has cracked me tile. It is not a normal ball but a concrete ball.
Smart, the bloody nois was deafening.
 
Football club gift set.

2 unnamed goft balls which went on the driving rangeand went about 3/4 of the distance a range ball went
2 plastic tees that snapped the first time they were used
1 plastic pitch repairer that didn't last the first nine holes

yeah my wife called me ungrateful (which I can be) but even she agreed that when my parents said they would give me XXX amount towards my golf clubs for xmas and same for my bday and I ended up with less than half then that I was a bit shocked lol

didnt let on but the mrs could tell I was like cheers mum guess ill go scrapping around the savings lol
