So i have been having a torrid time of it on the course of late, as some people here whom have had the mis-pleasure of playing with me recently will confirm! and i mean awful, cricket scores, with sh...ks, slices, hooks, tops, thins, fats, you name it, i have done it, so i had been "happy" to break a ton of late!

Anyway, finally, finally put a half decent round in. just a game with a member mate for my 3 cards, but still feels amazing and i feel i left a lot of silly shots on the course too! i am now worried that my handicap is going to be lower than expected though, but hey ho, if i can play to it once, i can do it again!!

In brief, carded 84(par 69, SSS 69) off white tees, no worse than a double (3 of them), 4 pars, 1 birdie (chipped in!) and the rest bogey. 38 points (working off my unofficial 17 from online tracking) so i was +15 shots. I know thats hardly going to worry the europro tour,but for me i am chuffed!

Quick Q on first handicap, is it a combination of the 3 cards you hand in, or just the best one? or a weird and wonderful formula? have done 2 so far, todays 84 (+15) and a 91 (Adj to 89 with making worst a double, is that correct?) both off white tees, par 69 SSS 69.

must be my non white putter!! 32 putts..LOL

I believe high scores are reduced to Triple, but as it won't be that card used, won't check.

Btw. For initial allocation, high scores are indeed reduced to Double - not Triple of my earlier post.
