just watching the cricket and i can't believe the number of no balls getting bowled and not getting called by the umpires. Gabriel has been called for 7 so far but Sky just showed a piece of him bowling at least 20 and they said there were too many to show. This is not the first time International umpires are just not calling them.

Got far worse since they brought in the video replays, umpires now know the no ball will be checked on all wickets so they cant make a real no ball blunder anymore in effect

Should be done automatically by the tv umpire every ball and he should then let the standing umpire know, allowing the onfield umpire to focus only on the business end

shame they didn't have it when Shep was umpiring in that game Pakistan won when Saqlain bowled loads and got wickets for them.

but in this game England should be 20 to 30 more runs from the ones missed. Agree the 3rd ump should be doing it, easily esp with the umps having ear pieces etc.

I believe (not absolutely certain) that the 3rd Umpire only gets involved BY REQUEST.

That's not the only issue with 3rd Umpire decisions. Giving a batsman not-out when half the ball was going to hit the wicket is ridiculous imo! That tolerance should be greatly reduced - and could still be calculated by Hawkeye!

Unfortunately didn't seem the case when Ali was out but no ball called that was subsequently shown not to be, but Windies didnt review so the incorrect reprieve stood.

It does seem the umpires are no longer bothered and it's wrong. The additional runs from the no balls could be crucial to the overall result in the game and seems to be setting a precedent going forward, over and above any others where Sky haven't drawn attention to it. I wonder now it has been flagged on TV if the ICC will get the umpires to clamp down
