Yesterday, yet again I'm stood at the checkouts as the person in front of me gets all her coupons out and starts the, have I got one for those, are they in date banter with the girl on the checkout. This took FOREVER !!!!!!!!!!! The girl on the till was a bit preggers and beeped everything though in slooooooooooooooow motion. I digress. So when I got home I flicked up Tescos website and contacted them via e-mail with a rant on how these blooming vouchers are a pain inthe bum and should be linked to the clubcard and therefore any that are live could automatically be added, points, or money deducted with just a swipe AFTER beeping everything though. Ahhhhhhh feel better for that.
5 minutes later my mobile went off. A lady from Tescos ringing me to discuss my e-mail !!!!!!! Brilliant!!!! She took it all on board, after I explained what vouchers I was referring to, not the money ones but the money OFF and extra points ones, and said that she would put it forward.
Please let this happen. For one thing I always forget the printed vouchers anyway, and this could all be dealt with one swipe of the cards !!!!!

Nah, I like the voucher, that way you can physically see what you've got. It helps with your decision when working out whether lurpak or flora is the best deal....a wee 30p off voucher in your mitt could swing the decision and you might forget you had it if it wasn't on a printed voucher.
Besides, the vouchers are great for holding up everyone behind you. :)

On the same level as taking an absolute age to get money from an ATM. get a move on !!!!

That appears to be a speciality of the younger customers as they keep requesting more money than in their account and then have to try other cards.

Four cards was the record I observed and then he only withdrew £10. Student loan obviously all spent.

I always seem to get stuck behind the idiot that does their weekly shop at the petrol station.
I Only want to pay for petrol & a packet of chewing gum.

my local Tesco has a scan and pack facility. it excellent, except the kids argue over who gets the scanner!

Everyone knows lurpak is better than flora.

I have suffered the same fate as the OP and it winds me up. Good on Tesco for responding. My biggest gripe with ATM is when a couple check the balance on card one, take £10, get card 2 out and check balance and draw £10 then get another card out, check balance, key wrong number, start again and then argue that there was enough on card one to draw more out and so do exactly that
