That part right there massive questions about it.... Under active surveillance to all intents would lead people to assume he was constantly being watched since his release so how was he able to get to the centre in a populated area with a bloody big machete and a vest fake or otherwise on show.Released from prison for terror related offences and under active surveilance. There are going to be a lot of questions that need answering but hopefully all of those injured can make a full recovery.

Thoughts definitely with the victims at this time and hope that full recovery can be made. But its hard to get past those questions isn't it at the moment especially for the victims and their families.
Yes, this all accepted.Unfortunately theres so many of these scumbags on the terror watch list you can't afford to watch them 24/7. It takes a team of 12 to cover one person for 24 hours. Do the salaries and times it by the numbers and it's not viable. You've got rely on accurate intelligence and data to assess the key threats. One or two will always slip by. But for every one that gets through hundreds are stopped.
The intelligence community has saved thousands of lives every year and never gets the plaudits.
My understanding was that it was simply as a result of a condition of his sentence...and so clearly any conditions set at sentencing that would prevent release were not met.Yes, this all accepted.
But the question people will be asking is, if he was considered dangerous enough to warrant that type of surveillance, why was he let out in the first place?
(And yes, I know there are plausible explanations, but in my mind, they still mean someone got something wrong...)
