Tennis

At 5hrs 18mins its already the longest match he's ever played & thats at 3am in the morning. I got him at 11 to 4 two hrs ago

I posted ages ago in Things That Gladden :-) He'd just got back to 2-2 and whatever from then on he had, once again, defied the odds.

What a champion. His desire to win is beyond belief. I hate to think how he'll move tomorrow (never mind how his hips will be when he's older).

Love him. Playing tennis tomorrow and can't wait, inspired.

Pretty daft that they just let the game continue into stupid hours of the morning though isn't it? Surely he'll be knackered for the next game due to not only the length of the match, but the fact his sleep pattern is totally buggered.

5 hours 45 sprinting around a court, and I'm shatter after 8 hours of sitting down and pottering around a factory at work. Just shows the difference in fitness levels these guys and girls have over us mere mortals. Andy looked absolutely broken at the end, and still managed to have a laugh with the Aussie pundit (even though he looked grumpy).

Loved his calmness at the end, putting his racket down, walking back on court, to bellow a guttural roar…releasing the emotion after all the control and focus.

Heck of an effort from Murray - but back to being Scottish again 😉

Down to Broady , Boulter and the doubles to keep the flag flying

I've found it impossible to be interested this year. Seems like a walk in the park for Djokovic so I'd rather not bother watching. With no Roger or Rafa it all feels very pointless until Novak retires now.

Those 2 set’s yesterday could have easily gone the other way tbh. He was down in both tie breaks and his opponent choked.
