Following on from my recent posts, I recently tried a ten finger baseball grip at the range to see if I could find any fluidity to my swing! Very early days but it felt way more comfortable and my accuracy seemed better. Anyone else tried this grip with any success?

Yes I have always used it some say people with small hands benefit from this grip.Like you it seems natural to me yet unusually I putt with an overlap grip.

Do you mean the middle one

Tried this years ago but once I was comfortable with interlocking I haven't used anything else

Yes I use this grip as well. I have quite short fingers compared to my palm, and interlocking/overlaying feels as if I'm not holding the club in a stable way. My pro advised me to keep using it if it felt fine, and he's not recommended any change 10 months down the line.

I played with a baseball grip for over 20yrs, getting down to a low single figure h'cap with it. Changed to overlap at the suggestion of a very good teaching pro. Played a scratch match that afternoon with the overlap, no problem and not gone back to the old grip.

I used to play left hand first then changed it to interlocking. I tried the baseball grip but just sliced it a lot. Interlocking grip has caused some nice injury to my pinky tarsals on my right hand now though. Can't win lol

Have used the baseball grip all my golfing life, mostly on account that I have little girly hands... don't feel I have any control of the club using interlock/overlap so have stuck with what I know.

Club pro has been happy enough not to change my grip either. Why break something that seems to be working?

Just come back from range and I think I have rediscovered my love of the game from the depths of golfing despair! I know its not for everyone, but the ten finger grip really works for me, it just feels natural. Finally, I found myself swinging freely and watching the ball soar. Cant wait until Society day at Stoneham GC now

I use it with the driver and driving is the best part of my game.

Use interlock with my irons and that's the weakest part of my game.

For some reason it feels comfortable to use with my driver, but feels horrible with my irons, almost as if the club is going to slip out of my hands.

I flip at impact and add loft to the club on my irons which makes consistency of strike an absolute nightmare. Have found my strike is better with baseball grip, but just can't feel comfortable with it.

Might have to get down the range and hit 300 balls with a 7 iron with a baseball grip until I force myself to get used to it haha

Baseball grip. have done so since I had junior clubs. my da tried to get me to interlock but I didn't listen.

Never do. can use overlapping but feel in most control of the club when using baseball grip.

I started off using vardon grip but changed about 18months ago to baseball, I find it helps me keep better control of my club face direction. With overlap/interlocking I can't feel where the face is pointing. (which usually means its wide open for me)
Nearly cured my push fade overnight. I'll never change back now, just feels so much more solid.

Thought I was going to be laughed at when I mentioned it. Interesting to know it is still used and I know deep down I know I should trust my instincts!

Most people who go to this grip don't actually understand IMPACT and change to this grip to help them FLIP the club as their right hand feels stronger.

When done for the right reasons their is NO grip that doesn't work, there are allsorts on the tour, strong/weak/double overlap yada yada.
