could anyone advise me on how to groove my tempo as i am all over distance wise with my clubs. two hits can feel good and fly high with my sand wedge but be 30yds apart. any advice would be great thanks.

Its just something you need to practice mate, 3/4 speed all the time and it can never be more than 5-10 yards out (which isnt bad for a mid handicapper)
Hitting full shots all the time will vary due to lie, wind and your own input (ie how hard you hit it each time).
I kind of regulate myself in thinking that If I 3/4 swing every time, I can only swing so hard through the ball so if i want it to go less, then I take a nitch off the swing. Touch is not something that you can convey to others easily, its like putting, its a personal thing.
