My day started at 6 oclock, giving the misses a lie in,she deserves it.
Warming up for my game watching the start of the rugby[that Haka really sent a shiver
down my spine].
Off to play in our pairs knockout,2 up,all square, lost on the 18th,oh well always next year.
On arriving back home i watched the rest of the rugby final[well done the allblacks].
Then got a txt from my mate telling me of the Manchester derby result.
Bloody hell can it get any worse.

Im in a vegetative mood today....
I was supposed to play this morning but i had everything crossed yesterday that the weather was gonna be kind.....How wrong i was....

The rain here isnt even funny.....I could do with a boat instead of my Volvo....:(

So as it stands im here in front of a big fire after my miss's making me the mother and father of a sunday dinner wedged on the couch watching the Golf that i recorded.....My small man (3) is having some sort of battle on the floor with his Marvel Characters....

Still gutted i didnt get to play today but we cant control the weather.....And looking at the forecast for next week there is a lot more to come :(

As it is getting bloody cold I thought I best fire up the heating for the first time since April.

Twenty minutes later and the carbon monoxide alarm went off!!!! Best be booking me a boiler service first thing in the morning!!!!

Watched Sergio go for a little Sunday knockabout to win by at least 20 or something.

usual Sunday for me, roll out of bed and get to the course about 8:15. 33 points in the fiddle, a couple of pints, home for dinner, watch tv and it's bed time soon, just enough sleep to get me through the night shift

havnt played today first sunday in agers
got phone call at 3am for a mate asking for a favour done then back home for 5am
then went back to sleep till 9am then watched rugby final
then after it finished played on xbox till dinner time then manchester derby
after that watch sergio nock last few holes in then sitting watching qpr laugh at chelsea :)

started well, lipped out from 6ft for eagle at 9 to be level par at the turn then game slowly deteriorated from there. Nice enjoyable round in the sun, made a nice few quid from the ever reliable England cricket team, off for a curry in a bit :)

Just a friendly 4BBB for me today, a bit up and down for most of the round but made eagle on the 278 yard par four 17th.

A windy day so I spoke the mantra, "swing with ease into the breeze" (wind was actually more off the left) and hit it great, down the left and coming back on the wind, two and a half feet above the hole. Took my time on the putt and made the eagle, only my third ever so very chuffed.

Our medal play-offs today. Out in 41 and sailing, then down to earth with 3 doubles in a row (including a par 3) but rallied to a nett 71 and 3rd place in division. Cheesed off afterwards as wanted to watch the Manchester derby with a few beers in the clubhouse, but found out they have cancelled the Sky subscription.

No golf for me today or yesterday. A golf free weekend - a rare occurrence.

I was helping out at a sponsored walk for the local hospice. Even missed out on the rugby. :(

Day off from golf for me. It was my dad's birthday yesterday so played with him for the first time since I started playing properly (he gave up for 10 years) then to the pub then to his for a meal with my parents. Lots of very, very good wine and food left me feeling a little subdued this morning. Not planning on going any further than my sofa today.

Just back for a stableford rollup - probably my last comp of the season due to having to go to switzerland for 4 weeks with work.

Shot 36 points in windy conditions which was the best score of the 6 lads I play with each week. Happy with the ball striking and driving. Chipping let me down this week (always something) had 4 duffed chips and 2 3 putts. So could easily have posted enough for a final cut of the season.

Steak and chips on the menu for dinner too..!

Let's start of by saying I have had better days.

The weather was dry but windy, very windy for our course.

First the driver was hitting everything right, when last weekend it was hitting everything left! So that didnt help my game.

Secondly I had 4 three putts, 2 gross birdies & 31 points.

I played the worst I have done in months. My swing was way off & my ball striking was poor.

Very disappointed with the round today :(

Pretty good for me at first, scored 3 birdies and 2 pars, and won a friendly matchplay with against my friend. Then went and had a lesson, where a coach tells me that I need custom fit cubs because of my height. So booked a custom fitting this Sunday

After a good round yesterday. I planned to play today. Set my alarm nice and early only to wake up to a stinking cold and feeling like someone had been sitting on my head all night. Not to worry, always next week.

A F'ing great day

decent round this morning, Man U getting thrashed (wanted them to win but will take the humiliating defeat), Chelsea losing their rag and now having a few beers and chilling after a nice roast chicken dinner.... Bliss :D

Zombieland rule #32 'enjoy the little things' :)

After the nightmare of my medal yesterday I couldn't face an early start to play the roll up so had a lie in and hit the range. Some good, a lot of indifferent ones and some real howlers and I came back in a filthy mood. Lightened by the watching Manc derby (great game for the neutrals) but Jol's donkeys has put me under another cloud (Jol out!). Hopefully Donald will come good and the range will be better on Wednesday ready to take the cash in the roll up next Saturday

Up at 7, big bowl of porridge and then off to Surrey National for Mixed Pairs club match. After a cr*p round yesterday (29 points in Stableford), I wasn't confident. How wrong could I have been!

I shot an 84, holing out everything bar one (gave myself a 2 foot putt). On a course I've never played before. Drove the ball really well with the big stick and putted well too. 2 course carvery to finish the afternoon and then home for a bit of TV and posting.

Bring on Woburn on Thursday! Hopefully!
