Well, The Boy has dropped his phone for the last time, it's now very 2nd hand - the screen looks like frosted glass.
He's going to take over HIDs previous phone as she's just renewed.
He had a protective case for the last one, an Otterbox, and it's been, so it would seem, completely useless...

Anyone got any recommendations for covers so we can try to make it last until i renew in a year's time..?

I had a hard plastic screen cover on my Z2, no idea the make as it was from fleabay but it did the job. The phone was dropped countless times, one time I managed to drop it on to my foot as I was walking and volleyed it 30 yards down the car park:rolleyes:, the screen didn't even get scratched, and the plastic didn't affect the operation of the screen, it still worked fine underwater.

My last couple of phones I've bought cases from Spigen, and got the solid screen protectors (not the plastic film ones) from eBay.

Tech21 , not the cheapest but very very good. I'm not great with phones and this case has got my galaxy edge still looking like new a year on.

I've got a Unicorn Beetle case I got from amazon, it's a bit chunky but it's very robust and my phone is in very good nick considering it's 12months old. It's usually smashed to bits after 4 months.

I've got a skech case that wraps around and raised from the screen surface. Then a anker glass protection screen protector on it, it shatters instead of the glass. No idea if they do these for Motorola though!

A case of "after '3' strikes and you're out.."

If you've given him one phone that's got bust that's bad luck. Second phone damaged is careless.

Damaged a third time then you're on you own for replacement or accept a 'hand-me-down'.
