I was wondering whether it is possible to connect a computer (in this case an iMac) to ipod dock speakers?

If so what type of cable should I be using?

The reason is that I don't have an iPod anymore, but still have it's docking station.

It is probably really easy to do, but I have no idea whatsoever!
