Just had next year's club fixtures published. Something to look forward to in this hour of desperation.

Everything is melting like a muddy funkster around here, it was just 24hrs too late to see some golf this weekend. :(

Be some closures for waterlogging next week, fingers crossed it doesn't (normally) shut our place!! ;)

Yep.
Snow's all gone. Just got rain of biblical proportions instead.
Thank God it's not 4 degrees colder. We'd be waist high in snow by now.

Maybe able to squeeze a game in soon - our place handles the rain quite well.

How I hate people like you! ;) Temperature still minus three at lunch time (Two degrees warmer than yesterday though!) and nothing but hard packed snow all around. I have spent all morning again digging snow, the gutters of the house are being pulled off with the weight of snow and ice. At least the range is open although I don't know how they are going to collect the balls.
I am currently fattening up Christmas dinner.

Went to the range today and it was fine. Granted the balls flew off the frozen ground on landing but it was positively tropical (+4 degrees) and so I was pretty happy. I popped up to the club on the way back. Our pro was on his own on the practice ground (in the rain) and the course was closed. We still have a fair bit of snow (especially the 1st and 2nd) and so I think it'll be the middle of the week at the earliest before it reopens and even then it'll be temps

Thawing fast here, hopefully course will be open next weekend. If i stay inside much longer i could become the first person to wear out a V-Easy.

Slightly worried to find the lounge carpet has two foot of break. Hopefully it was badly laid otherwise the house is slipping down the hill. :D :D :D

Played our Turkey Trot today, over 9 holes x2, with uncut temporary greens - basicially a hole cut in eth fairway, and on 2 holes in teh rough !!!
Started out with snow on teh ground and thick fog, snow mainly melted , fog started to disappear, sun tried to show through, then it P****ED down for 5 holes .

Bloody good fun actually. ... Apart from the rain.
played surprisingly well
