Team matchplay practice

tomorrow morning for me and the forecast is vile. Rain, strong winds and temperatures feeling in the minus

Sounds nice. Played Saturday and the wind was bitter. Felt colder with the wind chill than it had playing on those cold, clear frost mornings. Hope the weather isn't as bad as forecast

The sun is currently out but strong winds, cold and some hail. Will be interesting out there today if nothing else.

The rain stayed away but we had some hail. So windy I was blown backwards on the 11th putting green. I won on the 18th when I parred it

Was it trials for picking the team or team practice ..?

played a good bit of team golf last year , felt we played matches when we were practicing at away venues , instead of practicing bunker shots , out of the rough , green slope chips etc

Thank you Team practice as I've been asked to play for the higher handicap ladies team. I can only play in two matches though due to work getting in the way. Was even more pleased as I'm working on my swing at the moment and it went AWOL on a lot of my drives today.

Cheers Iain Wasn't as bad as it was on Sunday although it was getting like it when we played the 15th into the wind.

Thanks Andy Was surprisingly calm as she'd gone into a greenside bunker and I sunk a monster putt lol. We've not got Royal Lytham in our group this year and both my matches are home ones! Was looking forward to the chance of playing it for free as well!

I am impressed, team practice! I have enough of a job getting a team together let alone getting them to practice matchplay. I envy you in the west of Lancashire getting the chance to play at great courses, no such luck for us although we do have Manchester in our group this year.
