Taylormade V-steel

Just a quick question for the experts out there. I want to re-shaft my old steel shafted V-steel 3-wood with a graphite one. I have searched the internet but can't find out any technical info on it. Did they use the exact same head for the graphite and steel shafted models? I have read that some companies use a different weighted head in graphite and steel shafted models to allow for the difference in shaft weight. Also is there a difference in the shaft tip and what size of tip should I bee looking for?

The tip size is 0.350 for the V-Steel. I have one in graphite. It is the same head for both. If you want you can get shims so you can use a 0.335 shaft if you want. Here is a link for tip sizes.

Cheers Dave. I have searched Ebay but can't find any shims. Any idea where I could get one form?
