Been playing with these for the last few weeks, I reckon they are exactly the same as the NXT just a few quid more expensive.

Going back to my DX2 + PX3 as soon as I lose them all.

Tried a Nike one platinum on Monday, I didnt like these when I had my X20's, they felt too hard, but with the 52's they dont feel too bad. Wouldn't buy them though. 333's are still the ball for me at the mo.

TP balls are ace, Red fly a little to hi for me, but black are spot on!

Wouldn't surprise me to see a new TM ball come the New Year. Could this just be selling off old stock so they don't get stuck with it? Then again, at this time of year, Pro's need all the business they can get so lowering the price to generate income? Good ball for the price. Supposed to be = to the Prov-1

Would you be so kind as to note the sellers for us please.
I'd look into it at £20 a dozen, even on the evil bay.

I have to say I love the TP black. So much so that I reviewed it and got some Nike Platinums (or will have when they turn up). I think the TP are every bit as good as the Pro V and marginally cheaper per sleeve and per dozen.

I think the TP Red is an awesome ball. It works well for me and its durable as well.

The Srixon Z-URS is another ball that I like although I dont find the cover as durable as the TP Red. Nike Blacks and Platinum just shred when hit. The covers on these balls are mince compared to a Pro V1 or a TP in my opinion.

I may well switch to the TP Red full time for this season as I was really impressed with in and thought it felt great off of the putter as well.

I actually bought some TM TP Reds last week in the American Golf 33% off sale.

Got these for £19.99, Tour Burners for £13, AD333's for £9.57 and Srixon Distance for £6.53 and Srixon Z-URS for £13

I'm looking forward to having a go with these, but I just want to hit distance balls in the winter (Srixon Red, Callaway Warbird etc.) and leave the others for the Spring/Summer.

Z-Urs for £13, Bargain is that. I found a Z-urs and played about 10 holes with it, I loved it.

I could never bring my self to hit a distance ball, even for winter. I hate playing with anything thats harder than a 333. Not entirly sure why people move to the likes of warbirds for winter, they are about the same price as the srixons anyway.

I might actually buy some TM blacks when I run out of 333's

Try the TP Red Tony. You will feel the difference with your new sticks. The Black needs a higher swing speen and better strike to get best out of it. Red is a great ball.

I know a few past die hard pro v guys who are now using reds and blacks. Not tried the std burner but the burner TP is not bad.

The Burner TP is a nice ball, reasonably soft feel with good response. Generally the standard burner ball is just that little bit too hard for my liking, but with percerverence does actually perform reasonably well.

As for the Red's & blacks. not tried the blacks, but have tried the reds as they are suposed to fly a little lower & although wouldn't say they fly that low they are one of my favorite balls.

One final thing is there are two product runs of the reds n blacks, as they have actually been updated a few months ago, but its still possible to find the original version of the red & black balls in the old packaging, & I suspect its those that might be being sold at the reduced price.

You're right about the old model red and blacks, but the ones I got were the new one's, they're in a different box to my origonal reds from a few months back. I'll need to look at the ball, I think the printing has also changed a little.

Have you tried the new ones yet? I also have the old ones and thought that they were superb and am looking forward to trying the new ones this weekend.

DCB I will try the red again, I thought it went a litle high off the driver but will see how it goes with the 52's. Her dad has loads in his bag, I shall acquire a couple!

Excellent ball for close in work around the greens. Not really noticed it going too high off the driver though. lasts well though.

I havn't tried either of them.
Found a Callaway Tour i the other day and played about 6 holes with it and was very impressed with it. It flew long and straight which something of a novelty for me of late.
Moved over to the Srixon Zur-c recently and find it a great match for the ProV1.

After all the slating that lake balls got on another thread. In the interest of research I'm going to have to try the TM TP reds. I've chosen the reds because of the trajectory, as they don't fly quite so high as the blacks, and i've never had trouble getting the ball up in the air.

Not sure i'll be able to get any before this weekends comp, as our pro doesn't stock them. But i'm sure I can get some over the christmas period.

I'll let you know how I get on in the new year. (here's hoping for 5 shots off my H'cap).
