Honma!!

I Think they got the mole logo inspiration from our course. It must be mole rutting season.

A lot of the Asian Ladies use them

They are a very well reputed non oem brand just like Muira - Japanese Brand

Popular in the Far East and very well made

If they do buy TM that will give them a big way into a bigger slice of the market over here and the US and it will also being annoying for some of the purist

Don't Honma also make some of the worlds most expensive clubs? And didn't they just recently give Donald Trump a solid gold putter or driver or something golf club related.

I've heard of them and know that they make quality forged irons.

What makes them non-oem? They make their own clubs.
To me non-oem means buying a replacement part that is cheaper version. e.g. buying a cheap mobile battery instead of a Samsung one.

Japanese manufacturer of high renown that loves to splatter its gear with silly gold chintzy bits so that they look heinous and appeal to the gold Rolex wearers.

Think they have moved away from that look (a bit) in recent years though.

Honma clubs need batteries?!?!?

Non OEM means made by someone else, but carrying your company logo. Honma make their own stuff, and its a bit expensive, and mainly ugly.

Indeed! Honma IS an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer)!

Their USP is the care and attention that is undertaken at every phase of their manufacturing and build process - particularly for their 'five star' clubs. Honma make both forged and cast clubs. I once met a guy (from Kazakhstan) who had 3 sets of the version of these! http://www.marketwatch.com/story/the-75000-set-of-golf-clubs-2013-05-31 - 1 for each residence, as it saved transporting them. Oh and the, relative bargain, £1000 matching putter!

On the other hand, the 7th richest man in China used a quite old and well used set of 3* ones - in a Hermes Trolley bag!
