I managed to acquire a stock Taylormade RBZ stage 1 stiff flex driver shaft. Planning to put it into my R11S head and take it down the range later this week. Anyone have any views on this shaft?

It's a pretty cheap, bog-standard shaft to be honest, the one in the Tour versions is much better.
It's designed to fit the "average" golfer.
Having said that, if it works for you then it's better than a £400 aftermarket exotic one!

Very cheap off eBay so thought I'd try it, I am Mr. Joe average so could be just up my street...

That's the beauty of this shaft type. Pick them up & try them, if no good change it back.
One thing I have found in the past (don't have RBZ or 11s, I am old school R9) is try the shaft in different orientations. I am not sure if the loft / face angle change helps OR is it finding the best 'spine' on the shaft? I have played some shafts lofted up and some down to get best results. I have 4 shafts with tips on - Matrix Ozik, Graphite Design, Fujikura (stock) & an Aldila. If I need to change it is easy and if I want to try something else i have more tips to fit in my 6 other shafts . I used to change shafts when you had to pull & glue!
