Am thinking of buying the Taylormade r7 Draw as i have a bad slice off the tee. So i was wandering if any of yous have a Taylormade r7 Draw and if so does it help cure your slice?

Sounds like a quick fix, wouldn't it be better to learn to drive straight then you could learn to draw and fade. I have a bad slice but I wouldn't buy a club that you could only draw with. It would be a bit limited. Practice stronger grip, swing in to out, right foot back abit, ball futher forward in stance, all things to try.

I haven't tried the r7 Draw but I think your £149.99 is better spent on some lessons (would get you 6 hours worth at my local club). My local club does video lessons, which I found really helpful - you get filmed out on the range, hit 30 balls and then go to classroom for analysis. The Pro can then take you through some quick fixes and longer term excersises that will improve you game.

Through my lessons I found that I was backswinging too far which was throwing my aim off and making me slice. I was also trying to tee off with the ball in the centre of my stance which was making it much harder to create lift in my shots. I also wasn't using my upper body enough (great tip by the way - when you drive turn your back directly toward your target during the backswing and then turn your chest directly to the target on the follow through). All these things I found out and cured through video coaching. My slice creeps back now and again but it is much better now.
