Taylormade Performance Lab - Wentworth

I've managed to blag a new set of clubs as a gift for my 30th from my wife and have booked in to the Taylormade Performance Lab at Wentworth.

Has any one got any experience of it? If so what did you think?

I went earlier this year for the day courtesy of golf monthly.....I only went to try the new aeroburner range out so didn't have the full fitting experience, but did get analysed on the hybrids/woods/drivers.

First thing that comes to mind is it was mind boggling on where to park or where indeed the actual range and TM lab are, it was guess work.

Secondly the range itself is decent (as you'd expect).

Thirdly - the lab part is cool, but nothing more than you'd expect to be available. Big screen TV to show you your stats and ball flight etc

I also went courtesy of GM.

It's a very impressive facility with a fantastic range of shaft options etc. and a great deal of expertise.

You'll have a great time.

Would heartily recommend it.

Won a fitted driver as a prize from the NCG Fantasy Golf comp, then upgraded it to a full set club fitting (extra £100).

They send you away with a dvd showing you how you hit each club, from all angles!

No comment on the dodgy swing if you would be so kind.....

Swing looked pretty darned good to me but you did keep missing the ball so I hope they sorted that out for you.

I really enjoyed the Performance Lab.

Great tech - which they then follow up with hitting out onto the range to actually see the flight. You will have a cracking time. (and probably a lighter wallet)
