Is there any real difference between these two drivers?

Both promise length and forgiveness - but have read that the 07 was better than the 09?

Don't have a handicap but shoot in the late 90's if that helps.

i bet there isn't much difference. i have a r9 super tri and love it. last round i left it at home by mistake and used my friends 'big bertha'. i must be 8 yrs old. it went just as far.

Can't speak to the 07' Burner, but I have owned the 09' Tour Burner.

It is an excellent club, solid off the tee, forgiving and excellent distance. The only reason I got rid of mine was because I won an R9.

My dad uses the 09' burner now and he says its the best driver he's used to date.

They are both good clubs,as been said not much difference, however if i had to plump for one it would be the 09 as technology always moves on.They are amazingly cheap on ebay and you cant go far wrong.Dont pay more than £50 00 and if your lucky you will get it cheaper.

I own the 2007 Burner and I reckon its the best feeling driver Ive ever hit. When you hit that club good it feels immense, with an awesome sound. Goes for miles too...

Agree you should probs go with the 09 as while the improvement between the two is probably pretty small, and improvement is worth taking on. Though two of my mates have the 09 one and while they both seem to hit it well, they both complain that it launches the ball too high...
