This to me is quite unbelievable.
The last 3 times I have played my tee shot on the first has landed in nearly the same spot all 3 times.
The flag has been on the left hand side of the green around the 210 yard mark.
All 3 rounds have been when its a club wind in the face.
I have been 15ft right of the flag and within a yard or 2 leaving a straight putt fairly flat slightly uphill.
I did not get the birdie because I thought it had a slight break from the right, thats how I know its straight now.
Too hit the same shot 3 times and to hit the green 3 times into a wind on our first is not easy so to me this is a very rare occurrence.
Anyone done something similar.

I can pretty much put my ball in the same bunker on the first, every medal, but hit the fairway every time it's not a serious game.

Does that count?

Me me me!

Our 18th is a 193 yard par 3, I've stood on the tee 4 iron in hand tried a smooth Oosthuisen type swing, and dumped it in the cabbage. Similar to you but different!!

Our 7th, par 3 178yds. There's the tee, and there's a heavily bunkered green - don't miss or you won't make a 3. Usually played into the prevailing wind. Pretty much every week I hit just left of centre, irrespective of how strong the wind is. Sunday was a full out 2 hybrid, remember the 4th at Hillside, which I absolutely nailed. Ball finished in the usual place, and the usual 3 ensued.

Yep similar sort o thing on our second.

Up hill tee shot into a bowl though!

Rapid green, im always at the back of it like, but the flag never is.

We had a guy in our roll-up at Pyrford who was known as "Lego" because he always started with a block. The week he hit an ever bigger one, he was subsequently re-named "Duplo".

Recently I have birdied our stroke index 2 6th 3 times out of the last 4, which I can count on one hand the amount of birdies i'd had on that hole in years prior to that. It's bizarre and all of them have been a straight drive, a 6 or 7 iron in depending on the wind and all to about 10 foot away and holed the putt. One of them I horse shoed. I'm hoping it continues!

On the flip side the 13th hole the tee sets up so you aim right but it's a right to left dog leg and for whatever reason I can't hit a good drive, it's a low raking hook in to the rough. Done it every time for about 2 months!!!

I am anything but consistent however there is one hole, the fourth at a local municipal, where I have only ever hit it within a 5 yard radius. Unfortunately the radius isn't around the pin but rather the front right of the green, slightly short, ans bringing into play a wide bunker...

When my driving was at its best I hit 5 balls down the fairway once, 4 of the 5 were within a couple of paces of each other.

I think when your playing at or near your best you can be as consistent as what you said.

Consistent by my inconsistency personally.. Never done anything like some of the examples listed..

Personal fave (taken from the Hunstanton website, hope they don't mind) is this:

The most notable feat, never to be repeated, occurred in the The Eastern Counties Foursomes in 1974. Bob Taylor, a Leicestershire County player, holed in one on three successive days at the 16th (188 yards) with a 1 iron, 6 iron and 6 iron. 31 years later (2005) he played the hole again and put his tee shot 6 feet from the hole!

I've had 8 strokes where the ball has ended up in the same place each time, in a row.

8 air shots in a row (6 of which were tantrum swishes) under a tree with impeded swing!

Actually my record like this is 10.

3 iron to 8 foot to the right of a pin on the top of a slope. 10 putts which all finished at the front of the green, bottom of the slope. Finally one stopped near the hole which I tapped in. All for a nice 13 :)

think Fowlers effort of making 2 3 times in a row at the 17th at Sawgrass in the space of about 2 hrs in the players championship this year is up there with the best of them

Season before last I had a run of nine 2s in ten rounds at our par 3, 14th hole. The one I missed was a six footer (to make it 7 in a row), and the rest ranged from a one inch tap in to a 40 footer (a bit of everything in between) and a hole out from a bunker.
