Has anyone ever taken the legs off a stand bag?

I've an old carry bag at home not been used, was going to experient to see if I could remove the stand & legs off it and see could it work well as a trolley bag

No harm if I ruin it as its wrecked anyway. But was wondering if anyone ever did it and how it turned out?

Most bags these days come with a velcro patch/strap to stop the legs opening when it goes onto a trolley.

I know my Mizuno bag did and my Titleist one certainly does.

Ya its more of an experiment than anything just to see how it goes

The base, where the mechanism for the stand is attached, are usualy bonded to the bag.

Probably the same at the top with the legs being pinned to the top divider cuff of the bag.

I would say, yes, you probably coud get the stand off, but you'd probably wreck the bag in the process.
