Looking for a new android tablet at about the £200 mark. Ideally will have expandable memory or at least 32 gig. Any advice. My old Nexus 7 is dying so do need to replace. Would not mind a bigger screen.

Reviews for the Asus Zen pad 8.0 look decent but it is not a make I know

Kindle fire 8". Every so often Amazon will drop the price and you can get them for £99. If you don't have the patience then get one for £129.99. Very good, I have a 64gb micro sd in and you can go upto 128gb if you want to. They push you towards buying through Amazon but it is easy to avoid and frankly for the saving against other devices I am happy to put up with that. Don't get a smaller one as they are old hat but the 8" one is a good one.

First and foremost choose operating system Greg. Am assuming you're currently on an android tablet, do you want to stick with that? I expect the alternative is to go Windows 10 based (I did this last year) which has some pluses and some minuses, really depends what you want to use the tablet for.

I went from 7" android to a 11" windows based tablet and now use it completely different to before. Current one has far more "computer functionality" but worse with apps generally (end up using mobile websites rather than apps a lot). Massive improvement in screen and viewing capabilities, far heavier, bigger and less portable (i still use the old nexus if i want to use as a kindle for eg)

Tried windows 10 on a phone. Like it but prefer android and apps that work. Using it for music, web, social media etc so want expandable memory and a decent screen for Netflix etc

I picked up a Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70f before Xmas for about £150.
10" screen, expandable with SD cards, does everything I did on my Hudl(deceased) but faster and with a bigger screen...
Got it from Curry's I think..
Worth a look

Had a couple of cheap tablets, but using a Samsung now, really good, should have gone for this in the first place 😉

See if you can pick up a surface pro 2 for a good price.

It has usb so memory is not an issue. Screen much better than budget tablets.
