So the T20 World Cup starts soon and looking at England's team then I reckon they have a great chance this year

Also I wonder when KP bitterness will ever end - do we think one day he will realise everything that's happened is because of his own actions

cant see why Jordan is in and not Broad ,also Vince for Luke Wright, two big omissions imo.
but still think we have a great shout this time around ,the hardest part is going to be the getting out of the group.

England have a good, vibrant, improving team that seems confident and enjoying its cricket. (Despite last night's result!) so they are going into the comp in the right frame of mind. The only real issue is whether this new style of play can combat England's notorious inability to play well on sub-continent tracks in limited overs cricket.

As for KP, what have we learnt from him slapping sub standard attacks around Australian and South African parks? Most of the world's best players are / have been playing international cricket or, in the case of Steyn, are injured so what has he done to really demonstrate he should be in the squad?

I disagree about Luke Wright. He has had plenty of chances to perform for England and never really looked convincing for any length of time. Vince played last summer and looked okay so he deserves a chance to see if he is up to it. Liam Dawson was the surprise pick but T20 cricket is oft about stealing a march on your opposition.

Broad proved in one over in the ODI last night why hes not in the T20 squad! Just doesnt bowl the right lengths for the shorter formats any more, a much better test bowler. Agree Jordan shouldnt be anywhere near the squad, being picked as a specialist fielder on latest performances.

Wright is unlucky to miss out, espcially based on his big bash form albeit Vince maybe better suited in Indian conditions

Dont like Dawsons selection, picking someone basically on a hunch who didnt bowl any T20 overs last year not ideal. There again the cupboard isnt exactly loaded with alternatives so being England they picked the best batter and best attitude out of the spinners
