These seem a good training aid for getting the correct plane, however does the fact that it is preset and rigid mean that it makes one swing plane for all golfers? The correct swing plane for me at 5'8 may be different to a golfer who is 6ft or indeed 5'4. Can one device like this produce the correct swing plane for all who use it?

It's adjustable. You can set it to whatever you want. 5-10 minutes of fiddling and you could choose Jim or Vijay.
