Has anybody got one or used one of these?

Not being one for gimmics and certainly not for parting with hard earned cash without a jolly good reason, I am wondering what people think:

Does it really do what it says on the tin?
Has it helped anybody improve the plain and tempo of their swing as well as the "claims" on the adverts for it?
Is it worth £60?

I take a lesson a week at the moment and will continue to do so, but anything that can help me improve is always a welcome addition.

Cheers guys

Um....it's a weird gadget.

I know more folks that don't get on with this more than anything I've ever known!!

I know 2 lads off 6 and 8 (both sporty footballers) who have lovely natural swings and have been known to knock it round close to par. Neither has fathomed it out.

£60.....not a chance.....

£Tenner off ebay....maybe....

What little credibility David Leadbetter had left disappeared with this silly invention.

Give it a miss.

I have one (boxed) if you're after one.

Does get some rhythm in your swing but 60 brick is too much.

Make me an offer :D

Mark,
I have one. My friend cannot manage it at all but he out-drives me consistently.
I also have a heavy training club which I feel is a better training aid as it encourages me to start the down-swing by moving my left hip first.
I only use them occasionally in this wet weather.

The swingsetter can be found quite easily for less than 60 quid.... a lot less. There are alternatives too.

My dad has one & I tgried it out, the feel of contact with an imaginary ball whilst swinging this weighted sawn off shaft is one way of excercising & trying to grove a swing without spending time on the range.

tbqh, I'm not really sure how good this device would prove to be over time & as someone else has pointed out not really worth more than a tenner.

Vig - what size grip is it?

I have used one in the past and I found it great - really helps you to slow down and also feel the 'release' at the bottom of the swing....

I don't know, i'll tryt and dig it out later and look.
