I think i fall in the 'hitter' catergory.
I made a short video at the range yesterday, only the last half a dozen balls with a seven iron,
Captured this still from the footage.
90+mph with a 7 iron = slightly bendy px rifle shaft in 6.5 flex

FYI, you're not that much of a beast. Its just a weird thing cameras do.

I fall into the hitters category too, swing doesn't look quick but I build SS late into the ball. (93mph 7 iron)

I would like to be a swinger ,but i doubt the wife would be too happy .
as for golf ,well i have a driver speed of just under 100 mph but i do attack the ball and hit at it rather than just swing the club at it.

Definite hitter/chopper/guided of the ball. all I concentrate on is path then try to control the face after that.

I would need to spend a whole pile on lessons to become a swinger

No way can you tell the style from a still!

Supposed shaft 'bend' is merely the effect of how a digital camera scans - in your case from bottom up!

Many actually scan from top down, so 'bend' actually looks reversed - head actually in front of hands!

The 'Rolling Shutter' is what makes the helicopter blades distorted in this pic - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rolling_shutter

I think I'm a bit of both. I tend to go after the ball with the longer clubs to the extent of being a lasher, but tend to swing a lot smoother from 7 iron in.

You do realise that that shaft bend is actual not happening don't you?
