I'm not sure how this will come out as everything is and has been done on the iPhone!

To be self critical. Posture is horrid! Take away on the inside. Take away after that too steep? Coming down and through on the inside again. Follow through not extending through to target, but cutting across my body. Finishing plane too flat!?

Just about sums it up. Club was a 5 iron that went straight towards the tall tree in the distance, on the right hand side of the fairway. A very similar sequence produced a lovely draw.

Comments and observations if you will.

Oh. App used. iswing.

Looks all right. the inside take away is better than the opposite and you don't seem to come over the top afterwards, so can live with that.

Agree with Homer that fixing the slouchy posture would be a good place to start.

Have you any images face on?

G...posture is awful - you look like a old man with a walking stick...stand up man!!

The plane on the backswing and downswing is awesome though - pointing straight at the ball..

If you stood up more you would have more room to 'hit' at the ball and get a more distance/'hit'...

Hapless,

I think your problem is (mind i am no pro or coach) your hands are too low and you could be doing with standing slightly more upright.

In photo 4 line 2 you should be able to draw a line from the top of your club down to the ball. this will help your posture.

apart for that it looks a good swing!

A little secret.

I did have a look a this sequence during the round and decided that my posture was diabolacal. Sam summed it up pretty well.

After that I did straighten up the posture. Distance was increased, and played some lovely draws. I also stood a little closer to the ball , which helped straighten up the posture. (Though I did hit a few pushes as well!)

It's just remembering to do it next time!

Thanks for the comments. I'll get some face on shots next time we're out.

Where's Bob when you need him??

Stand up more, straighten your back and try to get your hands higher on the follow through to help point the shaft straight down the line. Thats my tuppence worth.

Hi Graham.
As the others have said, you're a little cramped at address with only a few inches from your hands to your knees and a big angle from your arms to the clubshaft

If you look at this picture you will see my hands are much further from my legs with less angle in my arms and clubshaft

Basically, lift your hands up a few inches. That will improve your posture and your ball contact :)

Yep I deffo agree that the lower back is ok but the top is a bit stooped.

Im 6'4" and it makes so much difference when I stand up as straigth as I can. This was in fact my first lesson, stand up as tall as you can and bend from the hips to put the club on the floor.

Are you tall etc? My clubs are 5* up and are great! My old clubs feel like snooker cues they make me stand so low at address!!!!

Bob,

Had a lesson with my teaching pro yesterday and showcased the V-Easy to him. He was very interested in getting one so I gave him both your name and Graham's website.

I also did this with the pro when I was having my lessons.

Got out yesterday in the horrendous rain. I really made an effort with the posture. Results were quite stagering. An extra 10 to 20 yard carry, which I'm not all that fussed about, but the ball was coming straight off the sweet spot on the irons. The pitching was also vastly improved. Sub 100 yarders were falling inside 6 foot of the pin on several holes allowing for a few single putts.

All in all, a happy bunny. Thanks for all the comments. Sadly it was far to wet to use the iPhone for any further footage.
