I had some old irons (TP9s) regripped recently, as I wanted to give them another go, but have decided to stick with my Callaways. They also need regripping, so I was wondering if it was possible to swap grips from one set to another without wrecking them. The TP9s are steel shafted and the Callaways have graphite shafts. If possible, how difficult is it to do?

you might get lucky by blowing them off, but you will need a compressor. I would take to your pro and see if they can, but would expect a few not to come off in a usable condition, so expect to buy a couple just in case..

You could do it yourself but you'd need an air compressor, grip tape, white spirit etc and you'd be lucky not to stretch any.
Your local pro could easily do it for a small fee.

I have removed grips and reused many times(on clubs for testing). I have a compressor and air line in my garage, and use a grip-length piece of 32mm plastic pipe to stop the grips over expanding and to help drive the air evenly alone. I never split grips this way. :)
