Ok, you arrive at your favourite driving range and someone is testing 5 drivers from all different makes.
There's Ping, Taylor made, Mizuno, Titleist and Callaway.
There's only one problem.....all the heads are taped up so you dont know which one is which. As a confirmed Talyor made man (just for example) you try them all and decide on a winner. Not just a bit but alot straighter, longer and just feels better than your own club.
When its unmasked and turns out to be say a Mizuno, would you stay loyal to your trusty TM or switch to the Mizuno?

Switch- definitely! I am not brand loyal and will happily use whatever gets the job done best. Although I do limit myself to more 'premium' brands, so if it was out of say a Ping or a Ben Sayers I would definitely be leaning towards the Ping. But out of the better known brands I'm about as disloyal as they get.

Totally agree with Eagle, whatever gets the job done.

I have Mizuno 3&5 Woods, MX700 utility, MX-200 irons, MP-T Series wedges, Bettinardi putter, waterproofs etc etc. hell, I just been fitted for new running shoes trying Brooks, Asics, New Balance and what was the best one for me........yep Mizuno Wave Rider! I wonder if they do Mizuno underpants?

Anyway, my driver is a G10 as it out-performed the Mizzy by a mile, for me anyway.

It would depend on by how much it outperformed the rest. If it was marginal (few yards) and the dispersion was similar I'd probably stick. However if it was banging it out there by 20 yards and flew much better I'd consider it if I could do a deal on price.

To be honest I'm pretty set with my R7 Limited and the rest of my bag is pretty solid too so not looking to make any changes soon

I'm a Ping tart and would prefer to like the Ping, however having just moved away from a Ping driver (and about to change again!) I would be man enough to say right give me that Mizuno, how about a dozen free Z-Star balls thrown in Sir!?

When its unmasked and turns out to be say a Mizuno, would you stay loyal to your trusty brand or switch to the Mizuno?

Not for £300, not on your life......

If I was after a new stick and one was clearly better, there's no question really....

I'd just think oh .... I've found the right driver. But have I got the right wife!!?? £300 notes is just money after all. But I don't think HID would see it that way!

Like many other things in a mans life. It might just have to remain as 'the one that got away!'

But back to an earlier question. Why the question Bob? It looks loaded.

I wonder if they do Mizuno underpants?

There you go fella, it appears Mizuno do actually make under crackers, get yourself some here lol

In answer to the OP, I am also a Mizzy whore but would & will switch to a better driver like a rat up a drainpipe if it gives me better results on the course.

Only an idiot wouldnt change to equipment that gives better results!

Not at all brand loyal so would hand over the cash straight away if it was a dramatic improvement.

To be honest I would be happier if it was a lesser known brand as like to have something a bit different in the bag.

It would all depend on what it looked like at address. I can't look down on something that I don't like the look of and boy there are some butt ugly clubs out there at the moment.
If everything suited then I would buy it without a doubt

I like what I like, be it Cally,Ping or Titleist but if it was that much better then I'd change but I'd think twice at 300 quid.
