sureshot 8800 gps

i got a sureshot gps about 6 months ago and really not to suri if its correct on my home course in sussex,was 20 yds behind the 150 marker and its reading 142 on the 14th,have carried a sky caddie around at the same time and surprised they really dont always tally up,has anyone else had a problem trusting what their gps is telling them?

I've found my SC has been pretty accurate. Played with 3 guys a few weeks ago that all had various SC models and all came back to exactly the same yardage every time we checked

Wouldnt it be eisier to take back the shop if you have warentee.

cant you take it back to shop and ask them to fix it ? their might be something wrong with the settings ?

Or it could simply be that the course wants updating. Its so simpleto edit courses in the sureshot its unbelievable.

That said I've yet to play a course that has been more than a yard or two different to what skycaddie reads a hole as. Infact my Sureshot has been more accurate on occasion as I've checked cetain fronts & backs of holes at some courses I've played with mine.

My gripes with sureshot are totally different & could posibly be simply sorted with a phonecall. They concern courses not currently covered.
