i allways thought that you couldnt chip with a driver. i know you can with a 3/5 wood but thats well known but my mrs who doesn't play golf at all managed to chip the ball 4 feet with 2 foot worth of roll after and about 1 foot in the air so i was amazed but i cant do it lol and i can out chip her with a sw lol im soooo imarased lol

She either has hidden skills or it was begiiners luck. Not sure I'd be rushing out to practice it soon but I'd watch out in case she offer to give you a game and beats you into submission.
