Just wondering if I can put these in over the winter, as there are no qualifying competitions.

You can as long as it's on a measured course with a SSS and there is no winter tees or greens taking the length more than 100 yards less than the measured distance

You will need to clarify with you club some don't accept as the winter tees etc move the course out if the Specified limits for shortening the course, and therefore means it's hasn't got a regulated SSS as Mentioned above.

Why aren't there qualifiers if the club don't move tee boxes forward by more than 100 yards. We play all year subject to not being on temps.
