I tried one,not really a fan tbh.
Suppose it's all about personal preference.

Didn't suit my newport at all .

Had one on a putter I got from eBay - gave it a go and it was hateful!
Got a mid slim 2.0 on now and its the dogs!
Fragger has one on his Ping and its helped his putting no end.

I fitted a Fatso 5.0 to a Ping Anser putter and didn't like it. Just too fat and clumsy, and seems to take all feel out the putter. I have fitted a Mid Slim 3.0 to an Odyssey No 7 putter and that seems much nicer.

simple answer to all these type of things is "try it and if you like it, buy it"

everyone is different, have different size hands, grip it differently etc
there is never a 1 size fits all solution, so have a play and see what works for YOU

i have had one fitted to a titleist dead centre putter,its an anser type . how do i get on with it ,well buggered if i know cos i havent had it on the course yet ,cos im currently layed up through injury.
feels good on the carpet though.

No feel at all for the Fatso 5.0, just feels cumbersome to me. Your mileage may vary, however.

Loved the Ultraslim 1.0 for a couple of years though and will treat myself to a shiny new one for Christmas
