I can stay up all night to watch the Superbowl. Now I'm not going to get drawn into a American Football / Rugby argument, I've had plenty with an ex Welsh coleague.

So beers in the fridge, chips (crisps) ready and the TV to myself. Hope it's a good'un.

Used to watch a lot when it was on years ago but havn't seen one recently.

Channel 4 in the late '80s was the place. Eight pm every Sunday night for 4 hours. Girlfriend hated it. Decent time of day, rather than the midnight on a Monday night that we get offered now (though it is live!).

Not seen much this year at all. I hope that we're not stuck with 2 running teams. It's the throwing game that's far more exciting. Used to be a fan of the Redskins when Jay Schroeder used to be the QB. He had one hell of an arm on him, as did John Elway for the Broncos.

I was originally a Redskin fan when Theisman was QB and it first came to Channel 4 but as I have relatives in SD my loyalty changed. Still a closet Redskin

I remember Riggins for the Redskins in the 80's. I visited Wisconsin in the early 80's and have been a Packers fan ever since.

Riggins, there's a name to remember, though I was always a Dolphin's fan back in the Marino/Shula days; with the Packer's as the NFC alternative.

Once Channel 4 stopped televising an even half-way decent programme at a moderately sensible hour I stopped watching.

It was worth staying up until 3:30 this morning though. What a nail biter of a game. Especially as at half time it all seemed over.
