I am thinking that due to my horrendously inconsistent putting these are worth a go. Have they made much difference to you?

Also, how did you choose which grip to go for? I don't know of any fitting process or anything similar. Is it a case of just picking one, fitting it and having a go?

Whether or not they make a massive difference..who knows. I just know, with a fatter grip, I don't have to hold the grip quite so firmly and it fits my hands a whole lot better and more comfortably. It is all down to personal preference at the end of the day. I have just changed from the 'Flatso' to a MidSlim 2.0

Super Stroke putter grips come in various sizes. The really fat version is more like a cricket bat handle. Suggest you toddle down to a golf retailer and find what you feel comfortable with.

I had a slightly diff learning curve in that after I had the grip fitted I held the putter too lightly so had firm it up a little

Has anyone ever been fitted for one or is this all about feel? I would prefer one of the smaller ones purely on looks but I don't know if there is any sort of science behind the sizes?

This is what I did. Coming from a Hockey background (with a fat grip on my sticks) I found a bigger putter grip more familiar. Went with a Fatso 5.0 and feels great. No idea on my stats, or how much better in a physical/data sense it is for my game, but sure gives me that confidence when on the greens!

I've tried two in the past: Mid Slim 2.0 and Ultra Slim 1.0. Hated them both, back to a normal grip for me. Hate the non taper, the sticky texture, the colour. As you can see, not a fan.

I've been experimenting with one for a couple of weeks. Have putted horrendously with it.
My scotty with normal grip is back in the bag for the weekend.
I will play around with the superstroke some more before giving up on it, but so far it is not looking like an improvement for me.

If I were to try and convert you one more time

It has the taper, smashing colour scheme and is not super glue sticky

The bigger the grip the more stable the stroke, but consequently as the grip gets larger you lose feel. I started with a flatso mid and it was an improvement over standard but not as accurate from distance as the slim 1.0 and scotty that I'm using now

For me it was which one felt as though it fitted my top hand perfectly and didnt leave a gap between the fleshy bit in the palm but didnt feel too big. Am a huge fan of non tapering grips (the sooner Golf Price bring out there MC with little taper the better imo) but as someone said not a huge fan of the texture of the grip but got used to it now. The 2.0 works great for me

Am I the only one that hates the feel of the Scotty Cameron grips? Never got on with them.

I've got a mid-slim 3.0, and love it. It's not helping my putting, but think that's technique rather than the grip. I feel like I grip the putter a lot lighter without losing any feel from distance. Just a shame I'm absolutely terrible at putting. My GAME Golf numbers do not make for pretty reading, and they seem to be getting worse :/

If you go to AG or your pro shop and they stock the new Odyssey putters, these are fitted with an Superstroke grip (fairly small version) as standard. Would give you a feel on a proper putter and you could decide whether you needed to go to a thicker size from there

This is a good shout. The new Odyssey's are really nice, was having a play at Silvermere the other night, and really liked the new 2-ball with the superstroke.

Tried a few at Direct Golf and ended up with a mid size Winn grip. Feels better in the hands and longer putts have improved.
