Super league back on Friday

Looking forward to it. Interesting to see how Wigan cope without Sam Tomkins and Pat Richards, although Matt Bowen looks an interesting replacement.

Pretty sure Wigan will go OK.

Bowen's an exciting player to watch though will probably only be a stop gap.

The beauty of Wigan though is in the youngsters they produce.

Loved watching Huddersfield Giants last year.......won the league but couldn't quite go the whole way.......this year maybe....

Finally some proper rugby!! :whoo:

Just getting ready to go to tonights game! Come on Wigan!!!

Should be a great opener, Wigin struggled last year without Tomkins so it will be interesting to see just how much they miss him tonight.....serious lack of good sport on this winter. Welcome back Super League, C'mon the Rhino's!!!

I like the Rugby League, just a shame i don't understand the feckin rules!

I've just had a blind bet on Huddersfield in tonights game to get the punting pot up and running for the weekend.

Well done Giants, a nice start to the weekends punting!

Should of backed them myself mate!

Had a feeling Wane would feck about with the team ahead of the World club challenge. Hard to back against your own though!

St helens vs Warrington next Thursday :whoo:

Pies will need a massive improvement to trouble the Roosters based on tonights showing.

O'Loughlin and Charnley to come back, anyone else?

Micky mac was held back tonight for some reason. Brought him on second half but it was a half arsed effort.

I would say now Sam has gone those are our best 3 players and Lockers and Mcilorum are also the leaders. We were a bit lost tonight out there but i had a feeling we might be like that.

Bowen showed flashes then nearly took somebodys head off

Im confident we will be much much better for the Roosters but whether that will be enough is another thing.

Rusty from us men, but i cant remember any team contesting in the WCC actually winning the first game of the season?

Could be wrong though.

Hudds defended superbly it has to be said, even if we were pretty flat.

Got to say that Scott Taylor is maturing in to a beast of a player. Sarginson looks very lively ball in hand, but was all over the place in defence.

I said to the mrs at the game that Taylor is going to be an absolute colossus this season. He just never goes backwards at all. Agree about Sarginson too, he was a bit schoolbuy rugby going for glory but not bothering defending :D

Bowen will be good once we work him into our plays a bit more. He will be dangerous with ball in hand and i think when Charnley is back that might give him more space.

Its a bit crap having a game before the WCC imo but suppose it was a good beasting ready for the big one.

Minority northern sport, like shove happeny, but less interesting.

I'm a southerners and find rugby league brilliant to watch which is saying something because I think union is the dullest sport known to man, in fact I'd rather insert wasps into my rectum than watch union.

It does help though having shared a room in my Army days with a lad from Normanton who actually left the army to play the game professionally and this season is returning to Hull KR. I'm looking forward to this year's super league and technology highs and lows it brings, would love to be able to get along to a game this year.
