As we get a little closer.

Thought i'd gauge how any people may be coming down early and fancy a curry the evening beforehand.

Usually our good friend Robin is on top of this, but as he may not be attending (boo/cheer accordingly ).

I thought i'd get the ball rolling.

Will have a little look for a venue if there is interested.

So anyone travelling down or living local. Just put your name and where you'll be on the wednesday and ill find somewhere suitable.

Me and the missus were gonna go home and have some tea (dinner to you) before leaving about 6.30 to get there for about 10.

However, if it also suits who I'm coming down with may leave earlier and jump on this. We're staying in Woking though.

Funnily enough thats used by my old dear.

Brekkie, lunch, tea and supper.

Bagshot only 15mins away. I imagine woking will be the likely venue. Then i'll either drive or more likely, grab a cab back after.

Woking has a very large Asian community so lots of good curry houses! If you're looking for a central one I'd recommend Jaipur. Will confirm nearer the time whether I can make it.

I am sure that's the one we went to when we had the H4H at West Hill a couple of years ago.

I personally thought it was average.

Edit: Yes it was the Jaipur. I remember booking it as it was right next door to the witherspoons, which they came in a couple of times and chased us

Out of all the curry nights I've arranged for H4H's and been to on smaller meets, this was the least impressive so personally I'd look to another, but that's just my opinion.

If you fancied a change from a curry there's a superb Chinese and Thai buffet in Woking called the eastern oriental fixed price eat all you can food cooked to order also has a sister place in Cobham

Yeah that place is great! Not in town center though unfortunately. Although dont send them looking for it in Cobham or theyll be disappointed and about 10 miles away from the 1 in Chobham!

If you dont fancy Jaipur youll struggle within Woking town center - only other one I can think of is Thali Thali. Much better ones a few miles out of the town center though if people are happy to cab it about.

Now i know this is gonna be soul destroying for the mob of sign ups..... but i'm gonna have to knock this on the head folks.

Mrs P has just informed me we are in london for a Hospital appointment wednesday afternoon. Getting to soton and then back up is gonna mean ill be getting to my hotel about time for zzzzzzz.
