Sunday 6th October (Day before Help for Heroes)

OK, there does seem quite a few people looking to travel down on the Sunday (6th) the day before our annual Help for Heroes GoKart Challenge Trophy Competition at West Hill in Surrey on the Monday.

So does anyone local-ish want to pick-up the baton and arrange a mini-meet and warm-up parade on the Sunday afternoon so we all get the journey out of our system and look forward to the main event?

I've already been offered a knock along with Martin (Valentino), not sure if this can be extended to more numbers or another course looked into to take more of us in?

Any views/opinion?

Unfortunately I can only take 3 guests at my place - there may be more flexibility at other places but many of the courses only allow members guests at the weekend. Probably best to see how many people are coming down Sunday morning and then look at what is possible - may have to spread a few games among the local courses. Otherwise, there could be options at certain courses that would take a group - Downshire, a local muni, is a nice course as long as there has been some dry weather

Like Paul, I can only sign in 3 guests on a Sunday at Camberley Heath. If my son is not working and is available, he will also be able to sign in 3 guests.

So, I can help with 3 for sure and maybe 6.

Another local course that you could try is Pine Ridge. I believe it has a reputation for being quite a slow round at weekends.

For those that don't mind a bit more of a drive, extra 30 minutes, I should be able to get a fair few on at Blackmoor. Would have to be in the afternoon as there is a medal in the morning. I am sure some of my mates will be happy to do the signing in duties, so could possibly get up to nine on.
