Got a Sunday pass as HID and The Boy are off oop North for a week!
Looking for a game - up to an hour or two from Aylesbury, preferably teeing off late morning/early afternoon.
Any kind souls..?
Can't promise to not bring Fragger but he has less chance than me of playing weekends..😁

If you guys don't get a better offer, you are welcome to play at Blackmoor. Would have to be late morning though as tee booked from 12.30 to 2.30.

After a bit of deliberation, The Chuckle Bros. roadtrip would like to make its way to sunny Hampshire..
Thanks for the offer Robin, will get up there but we both feel Blackmoor "owes" us...
Rich - would love to take you up on the offer
Let us know what time you want us there..
Cheers

Many thanks to Rich.
A smashing day, some decent banter, good company and some decent golf between us.
I was apologising on the first having hit a decent 5 iron down the first I them thinned a 7 iron that never got more than a foot off the ground, ran all the way up the green, hit the flag and stopped about 5 feet from the hole..
Putt despatched for a very fortunate birdie.
That's as good as it got as far as the match went, The Chuckle Bros soon giving way to Rich and Lee - Rich claiming the match on the 16th with an audacious chip in..
An approximate 33 points for me including a 20 point back 9 - best I've played there so very happy with that.
Mr Hart shot an approximate 41 points including 23 on the back 9 - amazing we only lost 4&2..!!

Fragger did his bit but is still struggling with his game a little but he did par the 17th...
A grand day out!
Thanks Rich👍

Fabulous day at Blackmoor
gorgeous weather
the course was in perfect condition
Richart's hair was perfection personified
a great time was had by all

On the first , Imurg sent down an iron which left him 160 ish for his second
Thins the backside out of his shot, runs and runs and hits the flag and ends up 5 feet away
makes the birdie , and Rich and partner Lee are wondering whats hit them.

they needn't have worried as they were 2 up at the turn and Rich then proceeded to complete the back 9 in 1 over par an equivalent of 23 points on the back 9 to win 4 /2
Imurg played well, I played like a left handed wombat with right handed clubs, but did manage a few excellent shots, but couldnt get the pace of the greens at all.

I did provide a moment of comedy gold, but I will let others dish the dirt on that.

many thanks to Rich and Lee, Blackmoor is always a pleasure to play, the facilities are great and the people in the bar and pro shop are just lovely people.

If you are down Hampshire way and havn't played it, you must, its a proper treat

It was on the 9th.
Fragger's tee shot didn't make the green and his approach was fired through the back.
I was in the bunker so couldn't see where it went and Rich and Lee didn't know either?
Over the back of the 9th there is a mini ravine. Nowhere near as big as the one beside the 18th but deep enough.
We couldn't find the ball so I speculated that it might be in this hollow.
Fragger's goes to slide down the slope, catches his foot on a bramble and goes A over T down the slope, executing a couple of near perfect parachute rolls on the way...
And the ball wasn't down there...😀😁
