Sun visor - caps - yes or no

What is the view of the members of this illustrious forum on these - are they of benefit or just a fashion statement and advertising method for some companies.

That's to keep the barcode (combe over) in place........nothing worse than your barcode falling into your eyes in the breeze:ears:

I tend to wear a visor rather than a cap. More of an homage to the Beastie Boys than golf fashion.

Thinking of getting one of those military/painter style caps this year though... something a bit different.

Cap for me. Monk like bald patch needs protecting from the summer rays. Visor doesn't protect my noodle

Used to wear a visor. Now my receding hair line is a problem, so I get a white stripe around my head that looks like bandages have been removed.

I have a variety of hats, but am experimenting with the no hat look. So far, so good.

Bald head + I only have to look at the sun and I burn = Stupid visor shaped sunburn.

I'll stick with sunglasses and get panda eyes :ears:

Visor for me as caps make my head too hot and ruin my hair!! Need the visor to keep said unruly hair out of my face and it does protect my eyes from the sun.

phew was worried I was having an attack of the Burberry and track suit bottoms in considering a visor after getting blinded by the sun and the hair getting in my eyes at the range last week...............

You could always go rustic and adopt the 'Rab C Nesbitt' look
