Ok, I'll be a man and admit it, I don't have the biggest hands and take a small mens in glove.

Anyway, looking at regripping my irons (as some of you may have seen an earlier post by me asking about prices).

Currently have stock Nike/Golf Pride grips on my VRS irons.

Have done the golf pride grip selector, answered all the questions honestly and it has picked out two grips for me...

MCC PLUS 4

and TOUR VELVET.

Question is which one, they both differ very much in price range, MCC PLUS 4 around £9.99 a grip where as the TOUR VELVET £3.49 a grip!
Why such a difference??

MCC are a multi compound grip - 2 or more different rubber compounds providing different feel plus a cord element for the top hand.
Tour Velvet are simple straight rubber....
Both are good, depends on what you like.
The MCC have less taper so will feel bigger in the hands.
Sharpro and Black Widow grips seem to be a but thinnernthan normal - they might fit the bill.

Right sounds interesting. To be honest, I am not too sure what I would prefer. Might just opt for the TOUR VELVET as they seem closer to what is already on my current irons!

I also have small hands and had put the golf pride multi-compounds on my old irons and loved them. My new irons came with tour velvets. They're ok but I've noticed recently during the warm weather spell they didn't feel as good or secure as the multi-compounds.

I think I'll be changing grips soon. I'll have a look at the newer plus 4's but it'll either be those or the standard multi-compounds.
