Successful rant .............. at Sky TV.

I just thought I'd let you know that sometimes it does pay to vent one's spleen.
I've just had a rant at Sky TV over a billing error.
I told them that I was close to dropping them in favour of BT .................. then I waited for a reaction.
Basically there was an apology followed by a polite request for me to hold the line whilst they spoke to their manager.
I was half expecting them to say, 'okay then, bye'.
But no!
They came back with 20% off my Sky charges. Saving £11.80 per month.
They reduced my broadband to £5 a month. Saving £9.50 per month.
If I migrated my phone to them they would charge me £5 a month for anytime free calls. No saving.
If I migrated my phone to them they would pay ALL my line rental charges. Saving £15.99 per month.
Also, as an apology, they're going to credit my account £75!

So, I've just saved £447.48 + got a £75 gift .................. how good was that!

Hopefully one or two forummers can also do the same and save themselves a lump!

I do it regular,I have Tv,phone & broadband with them & Iv been on 20% off for years. Also had a few free engineers out & Router upgrades. All you have to do is threaten to leave.
Threatened to leave the Mrs a few times in hope of a few extras,never works
