So, having ordered my new Mizuno Aerolite bag this morning, I was perusing the Mizuno website and am now hankering after some Mizzy irons! By god they're good looking, aren't they?

I think I might have to ask for a set of MP52's for Christmas and take a trip to Oxford Golf Centre to get fitted.

Or I'll get fitted and see if I can find a new set of MP-30's on t'bay. Just looking now and there's sets for around £150 which seem fairly reasonable to me!

I CANNOT AFFORD THIS, INTERNET. WHY MUST YOU TAUNT ME!?

In that case, look away

Only about £550

Those are no better looking that any other part shiney club though.
I dont get some people talking about getting semi's just looking at "sexy" golf clubs.
Cars are another one, I like my motors but would never call a car sexy.

Now these.... Much better!

Just a quick word to the wise, try the MX range before the MP's I do not know your handicap but I won our comp 2 weeks ago after changing back from MP60's to the MX25's.I'd only had them a fortnight. The MP's really are for the better player, the MX's have a tad more forgiveness but still with that classic Mizuno forged feel.

Sexy clubs are like sexy women, yeah they look great and we all want them but they are a bitch to own and let you down when you need them most making you look silly in front of your friends.

Get your order in quick if your after 52's.

Having been at the fitting centre today i was told that if i did want them i'd need to order this week, and even then the stock would be fetched from Europe.

Word from them is that they'll be a new version before the year is out and they arent making any more 52's

A very good analogy there.
It sounds like you've got a story to tell us?

I have to say I did give the Mizzys in AG a very good persual at the weekend and they are nice. I like the 52's but not sure I've got the game for them. Truth be told I'm happy anyway with the TM's

I tried my mates MP30 5 iron on a par 3 the other week in a friendly game and I must admit I thought it was really nice. Gave confidence and felt really good off the face. It was quiet so I hit another just to swing it again and put that one on the green too.

I'm looking at changing my clubs next year maybe and will be looking at mizuno's first.

Earlier this year my mate snapped all his Mizzys in two, and put them in a skip, along with about 4 drivers and a couple of fairways.

He now plays Adams boxy things, with lots of head covers.

Worrying.

I actually love the Titleist's too. My mate plays some 909's and another has a set (unsure of the model) that are small cavity's on the longer irons and full blade on the short irons (7-PW). Bliddy lovely clubs.

But I have to get the ones that match my new Mizzy bag though, right? ;)
