Weather was nice today, have been hitting the ball well all week, so thought I'd enter the medal.
101 shots later (including 42 putts!) and 4 golf balls lighter, I am contemplating putting the sticks on eBay.
It really has been one of those days. Today I hate golf but tomorrow I am sure I will love it again. What a stupid, stupid game.

Indeed. I wouldn't fret, I lost two balls at the GM day on the same hole including one I hit only once and fresh out of the wrapper. If your putting continues to give you problems I'd suggest a lesson as it is a crucial part of shooting lower scores.

Don't fret. I had 103 in Thursday's medal including 5 to get out of a bunker and a fresh air shot.
It doesn't worry me too much as I have been reading Bob Rotella.

In the words of the great Jon Bon Jovi - "man we gotta keep the faith!". I love this game so much that even the bad scoring days are still great golfing days cos we're always learning!!!!!!!!!!! Can't believe i just said that!

Couldn't agree more.

Can't wait to get out there myself - coz of lack of clubs I've been relagated to frustrated bystander for the time being. What's worse than playing and having a crap round ? - NOT playing and having a crap round !!

Today I played a new course, dead cheap and loved every minute of it. I didn't seem to be playing well, though better than at RA, but it included a couple of magical shots even though, as there, my driver gave up on me.

Always good to play a new course and hit a few good shots. I remember playing Lydd recently and my first shot was a huge duck hook OVER the river but then on the second I hit a great hybrid into the wind from 183 to about 10 feet. I was happy with that and it made my day. I had a few other good holes but that one shot was my abiding memory
