Stuburt Waterproof sizes

Hi all,

Long time reader, first time poster so be gentle!

I'm looking to get a cheap(ish) waterproof jacket and there are some good deals on stuburt jackets on various websites at the moment....

I was just wondering if any of you have stuburt jackets/clothing and any advice on whether the sizes are big or small etc? I'm normally between a medium and large so am hesitant to order!

Hi and welcome to the forum. I can't say about the jackets but I do own some trousers and to be honest they seem on the small size to me, so I would order up rather than stay to your size.

Only got back into playing regularly this year after 10 years of the odd social round and been bitten by the bug so been reading the forum with interest. Been buying some clubs this year with more to come so will no doubt be back on for thoughts when the time comes.....

Good to know about sizes actually. I'm asking for some waterproofs for Chrimbo and as much as I'd like the Galvin Green stuff, I really don't think I can persuade people to spend that much on waterproofs!

Shame the sizes are so ridiculous.

If I want trousers that will fit my leg length, I need to put on 2 or 3 stone for them to not fall off my waist.

I'd seen them aswell but the sizes were odd.

Managed to get a pair of Callaway waterproof trousers for £20 and a Stuburt Jacket for £30 so happy with that. Galvin Green's would've been nice though...

I always recommend the proquip waterproofs as I've got a couple of sets (ideal for playing both Saturday and Sunday in winter without worrying about them drying out) and this lot always seem to have good deals

Thanks for the recommendation homer, these are just a quick fix as it seems to rain every time i put the clubs in the car these days! Will look at the proquip suits when looking again
